Comments about Penn Sargus SL817S70 Rod and SG4000 Reel Combo:
I was impressed with the construction of the sargus reel.The drag washers are made to fight large fish and honestly i would take this reel over my shimano stradics anyday if i hooked up with a striper over 40 pounds because i know it will stand up to it.Plus the retrieve rate is incredible for jigging bass and blues super smooth and fast.The rod is the only con but not a bad one just wish they offered more lengths outside of that its great.I am buying more of these reels they are built better than reels costing three times as much and will outlast them also great product.
