This reel can handle anything from trolling to casting large baits and bottom fishing! HT100 drag washers provide smooth drag under heavy loads, while multi-disc star drag makes for consistent performance. Construction features precision-machined, stainless steel pinion gear; high-strength, manganese-bronze main gear; stainless steel reinforced side plates; and an anodized aluminum spool. Includes two shielded, stainless steel ball bearings; one convertible power handle; one heavy-duty clicker; and a graphite rod clamp.

Comments about Penn® 113H2 Special Senator 4/0 Conventional Reel:

Been using these reels for better than 50 years and is the go to reel for trolling in the bay for strippers and blue fish along with bottom fishing for red/black drum. Than you can use the same reel in the ocean for bottom fishing and trolling. Landed 150 lb sharks and 90 lb tuna on this same reel and keeps on running. Never had a problem with these reels in 50 years and have lots of them.

        Penn quality is going downhill. Their prices were comperable with other brands but their quality was better. Now the 113H2(not the 113H)is made in China and the product isn't as good.
