Comments about Pelican Boats Pelican™ Bass Raider 10 Fishing Boat:
Only problem is a 3.5HP gas motor, which weighs 38lbs is too heavy when just one person is in the boat. The front sits up in the air and the rear transom clears the water by only 2 inches.

Comments about Pelican Boats Pelican™ Bass Raider 10 Fishing Boat:
I just got this boat this Spring. I had it on a very rough Lake the other day and it was very stable even with the high winds and waves. I use a 30 lb. thrust Minn Kota and I couldn't be more pleased with the whole package. Seats are very comfortable. Even with two people it's very stable

Yes you can mount trolling motor on the front or backAnswered on 3/22/2013 by Smiley from Sanford N.C.A:
Yes, I have used a battery powered trolling motor. By my recollection when I purchased my boat 3 years ago I was told I could go up to 12 HP. I use a 65 Thrust now. Further I think it works better pulling than pushing.Answered on 8/1/2010 by Tim from Naples, FloridaA:
