Comments about Pelican™ 1010 Protective Case for iPods:

Bought 2 of these for my husband and myself so that we would be able to take our IPODS and MP3 players on our extended kayak trips...both MP3's and IPODS's fit great and the external plug in for our earbuds work as if they are plugged in "as normal"...the "D" ring is nice to clip it to any stap or surface for easy carrying.
Actually dropped mine in the water loading my kayak...after treading around getting things back in order, I opened the case and DRY, DRY, DRY!! Plugged my earbuds into the external jack and I kayaked with my music the rest of the afternoon.
So glad I bought this product!!

    • Q:

Will this accomadate a MP3 player? I do not own an IPOD...
This would be great in my kayak, so I don't have to worry about my MP3 getting ruined. Please advise.

      • A:

Yes...both my husband and myself have MP3's...the interior is set so that is can accomidate almost any size or stlye of MP3 or IPOD! I actually dropped mine in the water while loading my kayak...after I gained my bearings and checked on my MP3, it was DRY! plugged my earbuds into the external jack and kayaked with my music for the rest of the afternoon.
Wouldn't go into my kayak without it (NOT WITH MY MP3 ANYWAY).
        Hope this helps.
