We have a puppy that likes the water and she will jump in and swim. While from the shore, no problem, but on the boat, she could easily jump in and swim off before we could react. So this doggie life jacket works very well. It is very easy to put on and the puppy seems to be comfortable in it. She is at the low end of the size perameters right now, so it would be good to have some loops for the extra belt left over, but when she is full grown, (she will be a medium size dog), the jacket belts will be fine.

Male dogs may not like the belly fit.
Great for female dogs but my male Cairn Terrier didn't like the rubbing on his privates. Perhaps a bit too long in the belly for males.

Comments about Paws Aboard NautiDog Life Jacket:
We recently bought a boat to use at our winter place in Sarasota. Of course Mimie (8 lb Shi Tzu) has to accompany us. We needed to get a small dog flotation device in a hurry and Overton's was the only place that had the vest in stock that could get it to us quickly. With speed comes a price - the vest cost much more than other places. So, word to the wise is, if you aren't in a hurry - shop around for a better price.
