A:These are not direct factory replacements. You will need to measure your existing seats and attempt to match the dimensions that we have available. I am not sure what you mean by backseats or backboards. Q:I have a 1978 Miami Caron and the seats are exactly like these except the base is 6 inches tall with an overall height of 24 inches. I can live with the added height, but I need the seats lower to the ground. Do you have 6 inch base seats that fold out?
JimAsked on 10/19/2009 by Jim from Missouri
A:I apologize, but our supplier only makes 8" bases.Answered on 10/29/2009 by OVERTON'S from TECHNICIAN
A:Jim. The bases that are built are just simple boxes built to the size (height) you need. A carpenter friend could easily build these bases for you.Answered on 8/22/2010 by Reed from South Dakota-Missouri
Q:I just bought these and they sit too high, can I cut the base, do they sell shorter bases?Asked on 10/14/2009 by wec from phoenix
A:These are the smallest bases that we carry. Cutting the base will void the warranty.Answered on 10/21/2009 by Chad @ Overton's from Greenville, NC
Q:how do you fasten seats to floorAsked on 9/26/2009 by Anonymous
