I'd buy a different ladder next time
great strong platform but the ladder is difficult to pull up and store, it should flip up instead.

Comments about Garelick EEz-In Transom Outboard Platform with Two-Step Telescopic Ladder:
Very high quality ladder. Installed on my 2012 Alumacraft Trophy 185. I'm 6ft 220 and it doesn't even show signs of flexing with me on it. Be sure to purchase stainless fasteners for the boat side, along with a marine grade sealant. Only wish I had more time to use it!!!

Is mounting hardware included? If not, what type of hardware is needed? When mounting, does one simply screw in mounting screws, or does one drill all the way through the hull with a bolt and nut assembly?Asked on 6/26/2012 by Rick from Austin, TX1 answer
A:
Mounting hardware is not included. We are required to leave mounting this ladder up to the customer. So, you can mount it either way you want, because both ways can be correct. It depends on your particular application.Answered on 10/15/2012 by Justin M. from Overton's
