This simple device makes it very easy to wind ski rope or wake line into a compact package. It works best for a single continuous line, without multiple take-off sections, since the knots on those sections increases the bulk of a coiled line. This winder is equivalent to tightly winding a line around your hand and elbow. Once wound, the coil can easily be inserted into a travel bag, or can easily be hung on a wall hook. However, unwinding is not quite as easy as using a rope keeper on a loosely-wound coil. Unwinding is not difficult, but again, it is not as rapid as simply unsnapping a rope keeper. Best recommendation is for someone who wishes to neatly and compactly store or transport watersport lines.
