I've been using Overton's hand guards for years, and for the most part would swear by them. They are comfortable, fit well under gloves, and provide excellent protection, effectively reducing blisters and callouses. However, durability and sizing are becoming common problems. The finger holes are too small, and the material around them splits or tears after just a few uses. Overton's guards are thicker than Masterline's, the only other ones out there, but neither hold up well with hard use.

I don't see the real use of these pads. Next time I would buy a better set of gloves rather than add these to my existing gloves.

Wear these under your water sports gloves. We slalom ski the course daily and find them to eliminate calluses or ripped skin once common when doing several sets a day.

Q:
do these fit under the gloves, over the gloves or w/o gloves?Asked on 8/11/2010 by Suz from Tennessee2 answers

A:
They definitely go under the gloves. Put them on your hands first with the black side on your skin and the colored side out. Slide the hand through the big hole with the main pad on the palm side. The two holes are for your middle and ring finger. Enjoy the added ski time without skin ripped blisters.Answered on 7/5/2011 by Theo from Twin Cities, MNVERIFIED BUYER
