We purchased this product for use in the harbor on Lake Erie. We will anchor it out on the weekends for a fun filled weekend of hanging out and keeping cool. The design is great. You can lay around the back of the seating area if you want to keep dry and then sit in the seats where you are partially submerged on a comfortable netting surface. We recently went through one of the most powerful wind storms that I have seen in the 12 years we have been here. I was sure the island would have been torn to shreds as we sat and watched it get tossed around like a kite. But as soon as the wind and rain stopped, she was still floating and waiting for us to come out to play. This is truly a very sturdy built raft. It sustained winds and waves that trees surrounding the area could not. It is a definite must have !!

I have owned other Overton islands and this one did not last a season. It was hard to remove from lake due to it's size. The mesh split in one month. I used fishing line to sew it back but it continued to split in other areas. It was hard to anchor due to lack of handles- only 2.

I was given this island by a neighbor who used it for a month before it developed a bad leak at a seam. I repaired it and found another leak after a few days of use. Again on a seam. After another patch and 2 more days of use, 2 new leaks on seams. Just patched it again and will try one more time before I put it in the trash.
The other problem is that it is almost impossible for an adult to enter this float from the water Poorly designed ladder and handle placement.
When it stays inflated it is a lot of fun!

used it on the lake at a party was an instant hit. was easy to fill with overtones pump took 10 minutes to deflate with the same pump. bought a different brand earlier in the summer and it came apart after 3 uses. this product seams a lot better constructed.we will see how long this one will last

It seats 8 comfortably and the mesh bottom is wonderful because it lets the water cool you off while bobbing around in the hot sunshine on the lake. Lots of fun.

I was getting ready to use this item in the lake that is about a block from my house, only to find when I put air in it, it already had two holes in it. I called customer service the next day and they were very helpful, they replaced the item with something else of my choosing and are going to refund the difference. I haven't opened up the new item yet, so I am excited to get in blown up and on the Lake....

I purchased this right before our extended family arrived for the long 4th of July weekend. It was a big hit with all ages. I joked that it will pay for itself in gas saved, as most folks were content floating all day rather than skiing or tubing!

tHIS SHOULD NOT BE LEFT IN THE WATER TO COLLECT SLIME. bUT, IF IT HAS THAT OR MILDEW ON IT, YOU CAN USE oXYCLEAN. This will bleach out mildew and slime without weakening the material like bleach will. While using it, place the item in the sun to soak, the sun helps to bleach out the stains. I took string and put it through the holes in the mesh making like a surgical stitch. Not sure how strong it will be with how the kids always used to run on it but it worked fine this weekend with adults.
