This took me about 2 hours to install. I had to adjust them later because my boat was wider in the middle than at the back & I had them too narrow at the back, but adjusting them took only about 15 minutes. This is a beefy set that should last a long time.

These guides are perfect for what I was looking for. They are perfect for guiding the boat on in the wind. The only downfall was I had to add another 2x4 to get the guides closer to the boat, but that's because it was for a Carolina Skiff. Other than that it works perfect.

So am a little slow with getting this review out. My wife got these guides for me about 15 years ago from Overtons. They have been one of the best things that we have ever gotten for our boat. They make loading so much easier, Even in cross wind. The qualaty is great the price was good. I would never have a boat traler with out a nice set of boat guides.

                    Hello Tom,

My answer is based on you have a 4" high trailer frame. If the bunk board is attached in the top hole of the side support arm and the arm is attached to the underside of the trailer frame, then the height from the top of the 2 x 4 should be 23" from the bottom of the trailer frame.

                    Thank you,
