          I have used many different dryers for many years. This dryer has poor air flow and inadequate heat. Timer is nice but the unit is not efficient.
          Would never recommend.......

                    Yes, it has a timer on it. It will hold about 2 pounds of meat sliced about 1/4 inch thick with the 4 trays it comes with.
