ocean_kayak Unlike any kayak you've seen, the Torque comes with a Minn Kota saltwater trolling motor with infinitely variable speed control, so you can hit the perfect pace for trolling. This quiet motor also has reverse capability to allow you to easily maneuver in and out of tight spots. The motor can easily be removed for transport or swapped out with a skeg plug. This Minn Kota motor offers 36 lbs. of thrust and includes Weedless Wedge Prop. The Torque Kayak is designed with Comfort Plus seat back, oversized tank well with bungee, large bow hatch with Cross Lock buckles, adjustable foot braces, transducer-compatible scupper, paddle keepers, molded-in cup holder, deck-mounted carrying handles, battery box, and extra-large rudder. Additional shipping charges.

    When the motor is installed this causes a great deal of drag and makes it very hard to paddle. I want the motor there for when I need it or I want to trol without putting the paddles in the water. However the motor put so much drag on the boat it was very dificult to paddle. Any momentmum would be lost in a second. Little girls could pass me up if I didn't cheat and put on the motor. Isn't paddling the reason we are on the water? yes, the motor would be great for when you are tired and you want to cheat or if you want to have a nice steady pace for troling. I will be returning for the Prowler. Nice idea guys.
