I bought the 2XL for big hands. I thought they'd be a bit larger, however they still fit well. The gloves don't bunch up in the palm/calus area. We'll see how long they last, but they seem well built. Good price for a really good glove.

Had several sets of gloves from Overtons – my fingerless "Proskin IV" are doing well after more than 10 yrs use.
However wanted full finger glove for colder weather.
Using on line guide my hand size shows as just over 4" so an XL should fit …. To be certain I ordered 2XL ….
They arrived and still felt a tight fit, but prepared to see if they would 'stretch in'
Gloves were good grip … and I thought they would be fine, but on only 2nd weekends use the thin blue neoprene thumb material and the much thicker palm - split … stitching come fully away.
These were the most expensive gloves I have bought – simply did not match the price paid.

Comments about O'Brien O'Brien X-Grip Pro Waterski Gloves:
Use these gloves for slalom skiing and like them a lot. They're new, so still need to pass the test of longevity and durability but so far, so good. Felt a little snug as received but may stretch a bit with wet/dry cycles and big paw inside. Great grip and many adjustment straps to custom fit each time - a strong buy.

Q:
Do these gloves stretch when wet? My current pair have stretched and now they almost come off my hands when wet! I have to tighten them constantly to get them to stay on. I am debating getting a smaller size than measured with sizing chart. What do you think???Asked on 6/20/2011 by Sherry Skiier from Belews Lake0 answers
