Fantastic Performance
Use them on the weekends slalom skiing in salt water. The provide excellent grip and support for ripping it outside the wake. Just wish the XL size was a bit larger.

First, the sizing chart does not work. According to the chart, a medium should have been plenty big, however it was way too small. I returned it for a large, which was still very tight. Kept the large, but x-large would have been the right size. As a competitive slalom skier, I typically wear thin kevlar liners inside my gloves, which provide extra protection. Due to the tight fit, I couldn't accommodate the liner, and wore the gloves only. On the first set it starting tearing my callouses. Not impressed with the gloves. Would not recommend them.

Q:
My wife is 58 and still slaloms. But lately she has had issues gripping and holding onto the ski rope handle due to some carpel tunnel problems. We are hoping that these gloves will help. This product mentions that the fingers in the glove are 'precurved'. Does this mean there are some 'curved support' like a metal splint to assist in keeping the fingers gripped around the handle? Are there other glove that you might recommend?Asked on 9/15/2009 by George from West Jordan, Utah2 answers

A:
That would be a good item to try. There are not metal supports in there, it is just the way the stitching is done. I automatically makes your fingers curl downward. I does help with grip and This would be a good idea to try.Answered on 9/17/2009 by Bryant C from Tech DepartmentVERIFIED BUYER
A:
I have a pair of these gloves, and there is not curve support. The fabric in the fingers are slightly curved, but offer no support. Check out the Masterline Pro Lock Curves. These gloves have a strap and a dowel that is supposed to alleviate the strain on the fingers.Answered on 7/23/2010 by Dan from SW Florida
