Q:I have an old pair of wooden Dick Pope skis (I think Cypress Gardens is the manufacturer) where the bindings look very similar. By the reviews it may be that a few new drill holes may be needed. Do you think this would be compatible? Thank you.Asked on 8/5/2015 by Brian from United States
A:The 700 Obrien binding will not fit your old hole pattern, but it should fit the ski. You will have to fill your old holes with waterproof epoxy and redrill the ski for the 700 binding.Answered on 8/5/2015 by Anonymous
Q:Can I replace the X-9 binding on my O'Brien Sequence Slalom with the Complete 700 binding?Asked on 6/29/2015 by SimiEd from Simi Valley, CA
A:The X9 is a plate binding, the 700 is a combo binding.. You will have to drill holes to make the 700 work, I would go with a new X9 replacement binding 44178 for $59.99.Answered on 6/30/2015 by Anonymous
Q:Will this work with an EP Tactic, HD Series Graphite 170CM. This is an older ski. Thank you.Asked on 6/23/2015 by Chris from Quakertown, PA
A:No, the 700 binding is for a combo ski. The EP Tactic is an intermediate ski, you could redill the ski and put the X9 binding 44178 for $59.99.Answered on 6/23/2015 by Anonymous
Q:Will this work with an old obrian World team comp aluminum top skiAsked on 3/19/2015 by jason from ann arbor mi
A:No, the 700 binding is for adult combo skis. Obrien does not make the mid 1980 adj bindings anymore. Go to the web and check out 715554 World Team with X-9 Adj binding or the Obrien Siege 842240 with X-9 adi binding.Answered on 3/20/2015 by Anonymous
Q:I'm looking to fit those in an O'briens Synchro slalom ski. Are they going to be compatible or i'll have to drill new holes?Asked on 6/20/2014 by Kon
A:They will not be compatible, the 700 bindings are for combo skis.
You might want to try the Force front plate 763268 for $139.99, that would be your best bet.Answered on 6/23/2014 by Anonymous
Q:Does the front binding have a pad included, such as what is shown for the rear toe binding?Asked on 4/30/2014 by ladd

Q:Can I use one in the front and one in the back for a double boot replacement on my Redline Kidder?Asked on 3/7/2011 by Christie from Campbell, CA
A:Kidder and K/D skis are not produced anymore. Slalom ski bindings are brand specific, so you can not mix match brands unless you are willing to cover up the old holes with epoxy and drill new holes in the ski.Answered on 3/8/2011 by Justin from Overton's

Q:Can I buy just the rubber toe piece? Reuse the existing mounting pieces?
Is the $60 for a pair of ski bindings or just one set?
Seems like it is cheaper to just buy skis?Asked on 7/6/2009 by Anonymous
A:O'Brien no longer sells just the toe rubber. The only way it is sold is just a heel or the complete boot. SorryAnswered on 7/13/2009 by Ed from Overtons
