Product Description
northland_fishing_tackle Extremely effective when used with nightcrawlers, leeches, and minnows, these soft-bodied floating jigs suspend live bait over moss, weeds, and rocky-bottom areas and keep them in the strike zone-right in the path of hungry gamefish. The Gum-Drop Floater's sleek, elongated body is constructed of low-density foam molded over a Lazer Sharp Mustad needle-point hook and coated with pliable rubber paint in attractive, eye-catching colors. Live bait swims frantically to fight the buoyancy of the float, provoking aggressive strikes from walleye, bass, trout, and panfish. Made in the U.S.A.

Hook size: #2. Pack of 3.

Comments about Northland Fishing Tackle Northland Gum-Drop Floater Jig, PJ2:

I love to use these things as a poor man's Lindy rig. Tie it on, run some split shot anywhere between 12-24 inches up the line and tip it with a shiner. Pretty inexpensive so you don't get mad if you lose it to a snag or the such. I mainly fish for Walleye but it works pretty well for Pike, Bass and Crappie also

I use these at a pond with pieces of hotdogs. I frequently catch 4-5 pond bass and nice bull bluegill.

i use this product mainly top water fishing for carp. what i do is just put some bread on the hook, flip it near a lot of carp and they tear it up. i like this bait because it is durable and last a while. one thing i dont like is that it is a little light so you would have to put the bread a little heavy on the hook. other wise this product is great.
