Q:I cannot tell from the picture how the tip connects to the shaft. I am assuming it screws on to the arrow shaft? I know the black replacement tip screws on/off, but what about the whole tip? ThanksAsked on 6/29/2012 by rbampton from Missouri
A:The whole tip is either glued or pinned in. When building my own arrows I usually place epoxy inside the tip then push it down on the arrow, then wipe off the excess. I've personally never had a problem with the points coming off with this method although for a super secure hold you could drill through the shaft where the hole in the point is and use a pin along with the epoxy.Answered on 11/4/2012 by WRundle from Texas
