These great new features include a compact design that lays flat against your chest to provide maximum mobility. A neoprene collar provides comfort, and the 420-denier nylon provides durability - the best of both worlds. Unique to the Mustang Deluxe PFD is an at-a-glance inflator inspection window. Green indicates the Halkey Roberts Pro 1F Auto CO-2 inflator is ready to use. This PFD will provide up to 35 lbs. of buoyancy when inflated and is capable of righting most wearers face up. A back-up oral inflation tube is also provided as is a safety whistle to alert rescuers. USCG approved. One-year warranty. Shipped ground only .

      Being in my 60's and bass fish a lot by myself, I will wear this. Confortable fit, not too hot, not as bulky as my previous vest which was a different brand.

        how do you check your auto inflatable pfd to make sure the co2 container is still good?

          You can unscrew the container and look at the end. If it does not have a hole in the end, it has not been pierced. You can also weigh it.

        I am thinking of purchasing the Mustang Deluxe automatically activated PFD for an 80 year old friend who fishes and enjoys kyaking. He often fishes in the rain. Will the rain activate the PFD. It would be difficult to cover it up to avoid getting it wet in a kyak.

          Do not use them in the rain and NEVER cover them up by putting a jacket over them. If it inflates, you will not be able to take a breath.
