mr_heater This Portable Buddy Heater is great for tents, RVs, hunting blinds, garages, cabins, or anywhere else you need a blast of heat. Two heat settings produce 4,000 and 9,000 BTUs and heat up to 200 sq. ft. Lightweight, easy-to-carry design features built-in accidental tip-over safety shutoff switch and automatic low-oxygen shutoff switch. Includes fold-down handle for compact storage and swivel-out regulator for easy fuel connection. Outputs heat for up to 6 hours with a 1-lb. propane tank and up to 110 hours with a 20-lb. tank (tanks not included). CSA certified.

      Living in Oregon, spring baseball means you could play in 60-70 degree weather, but most of the games are in 35-50 degree weather. It is not unheard of to play when snow is falling. The Mr Heater is perfect for us parents watching the game.

        Bought and used this heater to heat a 10 man tent. Used it in the dead of winter during a 20 degree night. It heated the tent very well, I would however get the adapter for the larger tanks as the quart canister only lasted about 3-4 hours on high. I was very impressed with this heater, was worth every penny.

              Great for Hunting, Camping, Fishing, or any other outdoor activity, also makes good backup heater for home. Would reccomend adaptor hose to run off a standard refillable propane tank for extended use.

                Can I use this heater in a small camper van ?
                It would be real useful in our VW pop-up camper, I just was not sure if there was any emissions or breathing issues. I assume it is safe since it is advertised for RVs. We do have a 4yr old who camps with us.
                I have also heard there is a limitation with elevation.

                  Yes it is a catalytic heater, and a very efficient one at that! It can be used indoors, and has a low O2 sensor shut off. I am a fire department Lt. and paramedic. I have used, and continue to use this product with confidence. I find this product to be not only an efficient and quality product, but safe too. I would not use this product myself, much less endorse it, if it were not an efficient, safe, quality product. I hope this helps.
