Product Description
moeller Utilizing Low Permeation Tank Technology, Moeller fuel tanks are EPA low perm certified and conform to all ABYC, NMMA, and USCG regulations. This technology utilizes a proven nylon solution that's fully compatible with ethanol. The below-deck tanks utilize durable marine-grade, rotationally molded, cross-linked polyethylene plastic that's corrosion and pit resistant. Fill spouts, withdrawal, and vent fittings are molded directly into the shell. Machined aluminum 3/8" withdrawal fitting has 360° rotational capability for hook-up convenience.

Starboard Side Tank capacity: 24 gallons. Dimensions: 8.75"W x 51"L x 17.88"D.

Please note: Hydrocarbon swell causes tanks to expand by 3% in all directions. When measuring, please allow for this expansion as well as an extra 2-1/2" for fittings. Actual fill capacity can vary by +/- 5% of the printed capacity due to how the tank is installed in the boat and variances in the outside temperatures.

        A:

        The measurements that are provided for any of Overton's items, including fuel tanks, are overall measurements. So that width provided is the width at the widest point, and for this item that would be the top width. Fuel tanks have to be mounted so that the fittings are on the top so this tank would not be able to be mounted sideways or upside down.

        The Starboard and Port side fuel tanks are different tanks. They are both side tanks but they are for specific sides of the boat. The Starboard Side Fuel Tanks are for the right side of the boat and they have an angle to accommodate for that side. The Port Side Fuel Tanks are for the left side of the boat and they to have an angle to accommodate for that side as well. I hope that this has helped answer any questions that you had.
