I have read about the reliability of this part, but needed one right away. I purchased it at a retail store and was really disappointed last week when I attempted to start the boat. The cracks, on both ends of this thing, were huge. I actually heard the air coming out when pumping the bulb. The cracks were on both end fittings that are on the unit when purchased... not the clamps used to connect it to the lines. I'm honestly SHOCKED at the poor quality of this primer bulb.
