Product Description
moeller Utilizing Low Permeation Tank Technology, Moeller fuel tanks are EPA low perm certified and conform to all ABYC, NMMA, and USCG regulations. This technology utilizes a proven nylon solution that's fully compatible with ethanol. The below-deck tanks utilize durable marine-grade, rotationally molded, cross-linked polyethylene plastic that's corrosion and pit resistant. Fill spouts, withdrawal, and vent fittings are molded directly into the shell. Machined aluminum 3/8" withdrawal fitting has 360° rotational capability for hook-up convenience.

Tank capacity: 52 gallons. Dimensions: 24"W x 60"L x 10"D.

Please note: Hydrocarbon swell causes tanks to expand by 3% in all directions. When measuring, please allow for this expansion as well as an extra 2-1/2" for fittings. Actual fill capacity can vary by +/- 5% of the printed capacity due to how the tank is installed in the boat and variances in the outside temperatures.

1 - My existing aluminum belly tank has a built-in fuel sending unit. Does this tank come with the option of a fuel sending unit to connect to my dash mounted fuel gauge?
2 - What tank hold down kit do you recommend for installation of this belly tank

              Hello Covered By Grace,

No. This Moeller Belly Fuel Tank already comes with a Rochester Swing Arm Sender. There is not a bracket hold down kit that will work with this tank. So depending on your installation and boat manufacturer, it is recommended that you have the hold down kit custom designed (This is a Moeller MArine recommendation).

              Thank you,
              Steve

No. Because you have to allow 2.5 inches for fittings.

I was wondering if you can supply me a diagram of the fuel tank above? I am not sure were the depth is measured from on the tank.

              A:

The tank is measured fron the flat portion of the bottom to the flat top on tank. You need to allow the full 2.5" minimum for the filler and pick up fittings.

No. These are specifically designed to be fuel tanks. You should visit our supplier's website at www.moellermarine.com and look through their after-market offerings for water holding tanks. We can order anything that you find on their website if we do not stock it.
