Seems to vibrate at higher speeds...maybe some dampening material in mount would help.

Comments about Minn Kota PowerDrive 68 PD V2 Pontoon with Quick-Release Bracket:
This is a pontoon boat motor which uses the same mount as a bow mount motor after checking with Minn Kota to verify that it would work on my bow mount I purchased it because of the lower price and quick release mount which is free. I crappie fish weekly using the motor to troll great when running but seems to stop when running into strong wind causing terrible line tangles. I think that I have pin pointed it to the pedal but not sure. Motor is only 30 days old and Overton has helped and going to replace which is good but still inconvenient. The mount stick out too far in front of the boat due to design to fix this I take screw out of the quick release mount and slide motor back into the mounting plate keeping it away from hitting dock, easy fix by Minn Kota if they would make the bottom quick release mounting plate longer to allow for the motor to slide. The motor deployment is a pain and if not careful could cause you to go swimming as the shaft sticks making you put your weight off balance as you hit the release and try to push the motor forward then all of a sudden lets go and so do you heading for the bow end of the boat.

bow mounted trolling motor. Can run and steer from anyplace on the boat. Great on battery power use. Cons the motor sticks out from the boat making it very easy to damage on the dock
