Comments about Minn Kota MKA-21 PowerDrive Composite Quick-Release Bracket:

The nuts that are included are very cheap, despite being stainless steel. I crossed threaded one and another nut was too difficult to remove so I had to use a hacksaw. Also, you need a perfectly flush surface to mount to. If not, the pin will not slide though due to the small holes not aligning. Carpet can really effect that. It it a nice clean design and smooth edges, which is why I purchased it over the aluminum, but looking back I should have gotten the aluminum bracket.
