                        This is a spare prop for a Volvo Penta SX outdrive. It is a 19 pitch and is great for pulling skiers or toys.

                        I'm currently using a stainless 21 pitch prop for normal cruising and top end speed.

                                No that is for Volvo and OMC. You need item number 31618 which is the same pitch just fits mercruisers

                                A:

                                You need to know your pitch first and foremost before you ever replace a prop. The pitch determines whether you are going to have a better hole shot or better top end speed. You will have to have your Diameter and Pitch and then we can discuss varying the pitch a bit, but for every degree of pitch down, your WOT RPM's will go up 200. Then will get down 200 with every degree of pitch upward.
