Product Description
SkegGuard can be used to protect and prevent damage to your motor skeg, as well as to repair or replace an already broken skeg. Constructed of high-quality 316 stainless steel, SkegGuard has an extra reinforced wear tab where the skeg is most vulnerable. This 2.5mm thickened lower plate will withstand damage or abrasion from hidden rocks and debris or accidental ramp dragging. SkegGuard can be installed on a lower unit with as little as 2" of skeg remaining. Secured with self-locking hardware, SkegGuard can be installed in less than ten minutes with simple tools. Its mirror-polished finish creates a custom look. 3-year warranty.Fits: •Evinrude/Johnson 2-Stroke '80-'01 units with 90, 100, 115, 120, 140 hp •OMC Cobra 4-Cylinder '86-'94 |

Comments about Skeggard Megaware SkegGuard:
Actually haven't used the product yet, but it was exactly as I expected it to be. We apparently hit something in the water and broke the bottom off of our motor. A friend told us about this product and we decided to give it a try. I believe it will work and if it does it certainly beats paying more than $3000.00 for the entire lower unit. Service was great!

Q:
Does this skegguard have one or two screw holes for mounting? I had one and it fell off or something and it was held on with one screw. If it takes two do you just drill new holes?
