Q:If im hunting and need to get back to my truck but the battery is almost dead will it still save my point if i put new batteries in it?Asked on 11/23/2009 by Anonymous
A:Yes, you will be fine changing out your batteries if you are backtracking your trail to the truck.
What would be better is to mark the truck as a waypoint with the truck icon (yes, there is one along with an ATV icon too) and then navigate back to the truck. This option will show where the truck is on the map where if you are just backtracking your walk in, it will show the trail but not show where the truck actually is except maybe to show where the trail ends.Answered on 2/19/2010 by treebeard from Lincoln, NE
