Product Description
lodge_cast_iron Lodge Cast Iron Flat Iron Grill Press; LFIP3

The Flat Iron Press from Lodge Cast Iron maximizes contact between a heat source and cooking food. This cast iron plate works in conjunction with a skillet grill to produce top and bottom searing simultaneously. Offers a perfect way to drain fat from beef, eliminate curl from bacon and ham strips, and hold heat within grilled-cheese and Panini sandwiches. Holds heat to reduce cooking time.

Fits all Lodge Square Grill Pans and Skillets 12" and up. To clean just rinse with hot water and scrub with a stiff brush. Dry immediately and apply a thin layer of cooking oil. Measures 8.25" Square. Seasoned and ready to use right out of the box. Made in the USA.

Lodge - America's Original Cookware:
When Joseph Lodge began making cast iron in the late 1800s, he began a legacy of enduring quality that has carried forward for four generations and counting. Today, Lodge is still a family-owned and operated business producing the finest, most extensive selection of cast-iron goods on the market. Amazingly, some of the first cast-iron frying pans, tea kettles, and Dutch ovens made over 100 years ago are still in use. Lodge's privately-held metal formula, precision molds, and exacting wall thickness are the result of years of dedication to improving quality that began with the first skillet from the first mold. Not even the most expensive stainless or aluminum cookware can rival the even heating, heat retention, durability, and value of Lodge Cast Iron.

Comments about Lodge Cast Iron Flat Iron Grill Press; LFIP3:

I use this Flat Iron in conjunction with my Jumbo Chef's Tray. It's great to cook hamburgers in the kitchen, reduces splatter, cooks faster. It also works great for grilled onions. I've used it on the round cast iron griddle too. Basically, I use this item every time I cook on my kitchen stove. Works great for me, no cons.
