    I bought this reel for my BnM crappie jigging rod. I had tried a small spinning reel, and had line tangles due to rod guides not being for a spinning reel. I bought a cheap level wind crappie reel and found it to be like fishing with a childs toy. For my money this is a quality reel. I spooled mine with a mono backer, and 6/20 suffix braid. Its like having your finger in the crappies mouth. I can feel every quiver. I wish the drag had a clicker on it ? Other then that, I love it. Just ordered another one today ! I have not tried any long casts with it yet, mostly dipping trees and brush.
