The Laser MG Speed Spool Baitcast combo combines an IM6 graphite rod with a high-quality graphite composite reel to offer optimum performance at a great value. The Lew's Laser MG Speed Spool Baitcast Reel has the same features and qualities found in all Speed models, making it perfect for any angler. Crafted for durability, this reel has a one-piece, lightweight graphite composite frame and side plates with a fully adjustable smooth graphite star drag system. Includes a 150-yard line capacity with a large Rulon 10-lb. max drag system. Other features include: a machine-forged, double anodized, 12-hole drilled spool; solid brass gears, crank shaft and worm gear; double-shielded, stainless steel, 8-bearing system with Zero Reverse; and Zirconia line guide.

The included rod features a one-piece IM6 graphite medium-heavy action rod with stainless steel guides and inserts, and a split grip cork handle design. This combo will provide an enjoyable fishing experience for the angler and a solid introduction to the quality of the Lew's brand name.

    got this the other day for the price, i herd les was good but i had to try one for my self and it was on sale at my local gander.mtn this reel is really smooth decently light good line capasity good looking, rod has a heavy feeling tho but it is balenced super strong good backbone. this setup is better than most, i have many other setup that are around this pricerange like, abugarcia blackmax,shimano caenon, quantum kvd and this one is the BEST, i put 50 pond vicous braid on for flippin, pitchin and froginn no joke you will be happy with this setup!!!!!!!!!
