Product Description
lews The Lew's BB1 Speed Spool Baitcast Reel series brings modern technology and materials to classic fishing design and ingenuity. The one-piece die-cast aluminum frame is lightweight and durable, while the quick-release sideplate mechanism provides easy access to the positive on/off Smart Plus Six-Pin centrifugal brake system. The oversized titanium line guide on these reels is also positioned further away from the spool to minimize line friction and maximize casting performance.

The aluminum U-shaped spool has a large capacity and tension knob with an audible click. The premium 10-bearing system with double-shielded ball bearings and either multi-stop anti-reverse (BB1, BB1H) or Zero-Reverse anti-reverse (BB1HZ, BB1HZL, BB1SHZ) provide smooth cast retrievals. The carbon composite aluminum star drag system comes with 14 lbs. of drag power. A bowed 95mm aluminum cranking handle with custom SoftTouch contoured paddle knobs offers a strong, comfortable grip. External lube port.
