      Thank you for your email.
      Per the mfg:
      Use a 2 1/4" or 2 3/8" diameter hole saw. With the 2 1/4" saw, a small round file would be necessary to make clearance for the ends of the 1/4" pin at the bottom of the rod holder.
      Caulk with silicon or polyseamseal. Bolt in place with 1/4-20 flat or oval head machine screws, washers and nylon lock nuts..
