Comments about Leatherman® Kick™ Multitool with Leather Sheath:
I go this as a gift and have been wanting something else even before I got it home. If you have to go to a desert island by yourself and can only take one tool, find another tool. If you're going to putz around the garage or take a walk with your wife in the woods, this will be fine. A great beginner tool or something for your 8-12 year old. Mine has taken a beating...dropped repeatedly since you can't open single handed on a ladder, into paint, drywall mud, cement, plumbing, etc. Just keeps going.
