Comments about Leatherman® Fuse® Multitool with Leather Sheath:

I bought this tool to use at work. It's a good tool from a good brand name but the new blade locking system in my opinion is terrible. I broke the locking mechanism on the first day. Sent it back and received my replacement. Broke that one within the first couple of uses. Sent it back and got a replacement. Since then i have not taken it back to work. it is still functional to this day and I have not again broken the lock, due to the fact that I no longer use it as hard as I did. It stays in the garage at home.

I have owned leatherman's in the past and have abused the hell out of them with no problems at all. As a matter of fact I still have my leatherman pst II in my tackle box. Been there for at
least 10 years with no problems.

I'm not knocking the name but I wish they would use higher quality parts on their new products.

I understand that they don't make things like they used to but this is absurd.

If you plan on buying this just to have in your backpack or in the drawer or tackle box i would say it is not a bad tool.

But if you plan on abusing it like you were able to do with the older models don't waste your time.
