Product Description
slide_anchor The unique offshore box anchor holds your boat at a 45° angle from the bottom, digging in the downward facing flukes without snagging them on debris. Easy to handle, this anchor gives you more control over the placement of your boat, regardless of water conditions. Toss the anchor overboard, and it will set within one foot of its landing. To retrieve, pull the line to bring the boat over the anchor. The lack of upward facing surface area allows the anchor to pop off the bottom. Stainless steel stabilizing arm folds compactly into the included ventilated storage bag.

Comments about Slide Anchor Large Box Anchor:

MY boat is on a Lake that everyone has problems anchoring. I have a heavy boat, so I went with bigger size. I love it. I will anchor up first then I have friends tie up. After letting anchor set and I have had 4 other boats tie up with no problems. The only annoying thing is, sometimes its hard to break down and store. The pin to break down box doesn't like coming out.

Comments about Slide Anchor Large Box Anchor:

This is by far the best anchor available. I use it with a Danik hook and employ about 3 times the depth in line. I anchor my 23 ft boat 50 ft from the beach and run another line from the stern to the beach, it works perfect every time. Releasing the anchor is easy as well. I just bought a 3 passenger pwc and I'm getting the smaller box anchor for it. It's a great product that I highly recommend.

works great, have 24ft cuddy cabin, have used in multiple lakes large and small. just drop over side usually in 25ft or less with my anchor buddy. have never had a problem holding boat. folds flat in case so doesn't take a lot of space. no regrets for buying !

Comments about Slide Anchor Large Box Anchor:

I've tried this anchor at 3 different lakes with varied bottom environments. I even added a 6-foot anchor chain after it failed to work even though the manufacturer states it doesn't need one. The anchor flutes are too small to hold with even the slightest wind or current. The anchor drags along the bottom material (mud, sand, etc.) until you find the boat has moved from your original anchoring site. Neat idea, poor execution.
