Comments about Ladder Rax Ladder Rack Waterski Storage System:
Easy to install and handles most water sport products unless they are too short. Gets many of the water toys off the floor and stored on a wall.

Comments about Ladder Rax Ladder Rack Waterski Storage System:
Great solution for ski storage. Was about to build my own wooden wakeboard holders and found this online. Bought one and liked it so much I bought another the following week. Easy to put up for a do it your selfer. Was able to store 3 wake boards, 3 sets of skis and knee board with two ladder storage sets. Best if you put the mounting hooks between 2 wall studs 32 inches apart about 2-4 inches from an 8 foot ceiling--provides perfect spacing for about any water board or ski. Hanging from ceiling studs 24 inch centers is too close together and 48 inches is too wide. No issues pulling out just the skis or wakeboard you want for the day without disturbing the other remaining skis or boards.
Pros--easy to install, Boards and skis sit near flush to the wall vs. wooden peg hangers
Cons--none that I can think of as long as you hang across 32 inch wall studs and have enough wall space. Save yourself time and money--highly recommend this system.

Q:
Would it be possible to mount this on the back of our deck boat to store skis, knee boards, etc.? We have an older model deck boat with railing that is a lot like a pontoon. In fact it looks like a pontoon on top w/ a boat bottom. Been trying to come up with a solution of where to store skis, etc. on the boat, as oppopsed to having them laying in the middle of the floor.Asked on 6/25/2012 by Tammy from Hazard, KY0 answers

A:
As long as you have horizontal room for what ever the maximum length of your board or skis that you are hanging -- and there are wall studs to screw the hanging hooks into (I recommend 32 inches between each ladder hanger) then this system will work.
The ladder accommodates a standard 8 foot high ceiling leaving about 6 inches at the bottom. I recommend you hang each side of the ladder system on the wall about 2-4 inches below the ceiling vice the ceiling. Hope this helps.Answered on 6/5/2012 by Tim the Toolman from Lake Gaston NC
