Comments about Attwood Marine LED Removable Bow Light:
The screws were so long they would have penetrated the battteries had I used them as they were designed to be used. The clamp is flimsy. I had to add reinforcement to make the light usable. The LED is great with its brightness and long battery life.

Comments about Attwood Marine LED Removable Bow Light:
It did not fit the boat (small skiff) product should be more user friendly to fit most boats. Cheesey plastic. Cool concept, but poorly constructed. Wish it would have worked out. Waisted the money I could have put toward hard wiring the boat.

Comments about Attwood Marine LED Removable Bow Light:
The light does not stay in its bracket; falls out far too easily. The green bulb doesn't always light. Overall, this is a cheap, thin, plastic flashlight with a terrible bracket connection that is being pawned off as a nautical instrument.

Q:
Would this light be acceptable according to USCG regulations for use on the bow (center) of a pontoon boat or do regulations require separate port (red) and starboard (green) bow lights?Asked on 7/28/2009 by Brad from Astor, FL1 answer
CUSTOMER CARE
A:
USCG requires red/green lights, but it does not matter if they are seperated or together. The bow lights can not be any other colors other than red/green though. This should be fine in most areas of the country.Answered on 10/30/2009 by Justin from Overton's Technician
