Found the product easy to install and so far reliable. Issue is the length of rope did not let fender adjustment from forward rails to proper height to hang between boat and dock. Add additional rope and this would work, currently only using on rear cleats of the boat where closer to water level.

    I bought four of these last year (2011) and used them last boating season. I went to use them this summer and found that the two on the sunny side of my boat had the straps completely rotted into white powder. The ones on the other side looked usable but I lost a fender when I put them into use this summer. I would expect more for the price.

                  Bought 4 of these and attached fenders. Within 2 outings the clips had broken on 2 of them. On next outing the straps were already dry rotting so they broke.
