Comments about King Kooker Cast Iron Skillet - 14":
We use this skillet for every day cooking. It wasn't pre-seasoned but that wasn't a problem. ALl I used was bacon grease in thin layers. I heated it up to 450 and burned off the protective coating by puttin it in the oven on the top shelf and putting aluminum foil on the bottom shelf. I then washed it and dried the skillet in the oven at 200 for 10 to 20 minutes. I let it cool to just warm to the touch then took a rag and dipped into the bacon grease and wiped it on the skillet in a thin cooking. After this, I removed any excess grease and placed in back in the cool oven on the top rack and heated it to 450, leaving the heat on till it quit smoking. Then I just shut off the oven and let it cool naturally. I repeated the greaseing process 4 times. It works great now.
