I do love this knife I had lost my last one and I was lost until I could replace it. This knife does everything I want and I truly enjoy having it. The spring had gotten weak on my old one and I was considering sending it in but didn't want to part with it. Keeps sharp a long time of course I have learned with time knives make bad screwdrivers and I care for them more now butwould highly recommend this knife to everyone.

I use this knife on a daily basis to open boxes / packaging, cut plastic banding on shipping products, and open different types of packaging. This Kershaw knife is a much superior knife compared to others that are similarly priced.

Not only does the blade lock in the open position, it locks in the closed position. This knife was well thought out, designed, crafted and built. I own several pocket knives, but the way the Kershaw snaps to attention when opening is impressive. No wonder Gibbs (of TV's NCIS) has been seen using one. It's thin, light weight, made for medium size hand, and sharp!

i work on ships as an engineer and have used this knife extensively. for a flat, thin piece of metal, the grip is comfortable and the slight lack of comfort is worth the slim design when I need room for gloves, wrenches, screwdrivers, etc. or need easy and comfortable movement as I traverse ladders and bilges. the blade pivot and lock stayed tight through years of use, and the blade stayed sharp. the open assist is great when you only have one hand available, and though this is my first OA, I'd say the Chive OA op is extremely smooth and natural. I lost it and will try something else to compare, but I really, really miss my Kershaw :(

Great knife. Quick opening. I especially like the button on the handle that allows you to lock the knife closed to prevent it from accidentally opening in your pocket.
