Comments about Kelty Red Cloud 90 Pack:

I haven't used it yet, except to walk to my friend's apartment, but I love the way it fits. I think that it will be great on my usual day hikes.
It's height limits rear head mobility slightly
It will help me to Be Prepared!

Comments about Kelty Red Cloud 90 Pack:

This is a pretty good solid pack and its my second Kelty pack (my other pack is a kelty redwing 3100 thats about 8 years old). The overall design is really nice and its very sturdy, the color is awesome i got mine in the caper brown color. It fits like a glove once you make your adjustments and it rides well on the body and the weight is distributed very good which makes the load in the pack feel like a lot less than whats in it.

It feels really solid and durable and once i got it i took it out for a dayhike just to test it and it was awesome.

Theres a few things that i think can be improved upon and they are : #1 the pocket on the front of the pack could use better organization like pockets on the inside with zippers so stuff doesnt pop out, and another decent size mesh pocket in the bottom of it. #2 the seperation between the main compartment and the sleeping bag compartment i wish it would have a zipper instead of the way its currently done.

That being said the good things about this back far outweigh those minor things. I think its a great pack with a good design. also the little pockets on the waist belt are awesome they are'nt super big but you can fit something like your camera or phone on one side or whatever you need in a hurry. Another awesome thing is that on the side pockets you can slide something behind them like trekking poles for instance.. that is brilliant. You can also cinch this pack down alot for instance its a 90 liter pack but if your not using that much space you can really compress it down alot, and if you need room man theres so much room in this its just awesome.

I am 6ft tall and 228 pounds so i got the medium/large size and it fits great.
