Comments about Ka-Bar Knives KA-BAR USMC Straight-Edge Knife:

I was issued a USMC K-Bar in 1972. It served me well on many training deployments and in Vietnam and Lebanon. I brought it home with me when I retired. I gave it to my daughter, a Marine Sergeant, who lost it on her second deployment to Iraq.
The quality of the "new" knife is equal to the "old". I was surprised to find that the K-Bar is blued and not parkerized, but the blued finish seems to allow faster sharpening.

              • A:

there are no set knife laws for the united states as a whole, not sure about different cities or state laws but i think the general rule is you can carry a fixed blade of any size as long as it is exposed and you have it for a legit reason. but if your just out in the wilderness then yea its defiantly fine
