The Johnson Cartridge Pump uses remarkably little electricity for the amount of water it pumps. The improved, efficient motor also provides increased service life, thanks in part to an ingenious solution which circulates the discharge water around the motor for cooling.
The improved design of the 1000 GPH cartridge pump includes easy-to-install Dura-Port discharge ports to eliminate stress cracking caused by over-tightened hose clamps. This pump comes with both a straight and a 90° smooth elbow Dura-Port as well as a removable check valve.
