The efficient motors draw fewer amps, while providing higher lift capacities from a compact 4-1/2"H x 3-3/8" dia. size. Made in the USA of a tough resin compound that resists shock, detergents, fuel, and corrosives. Three-year warranty.

                  I had a bad experience on the lake on day and almost put my boat on the bottom due to my pump not working. I purchased this pump hoping that it would do a good enough job to keep the water out long enough to get me back to the bank if this happened again. When I received the new bilge pump, I was shocked at how small it was. I really didn't think that it would be able to do a very good job. After installing the new pump, I filled up the bilge with water from the hose. While the water was still filling the bilge, I turned on the pump. I was suprised that that the pump was almost pumping the water out as fast as the hose was putting it in. If I still have this boat when this pump goes out, I will be getting the same pump to replace it. It works great and doesn't cost an arm and a leg.

                  Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

                      No...the Ultima series of bilge pumps are automatic. The Ultima 1000 (Item 33494) would be an option, as would the Rule RM1100 (Item 79810).
