Comments about Jensen MXA6BA 6" Amplified Marine Subwoofer:

This is a great little subwoofer, mind you it won't hit like a 15 inch sub powered by a separate amplifier, but adds just the right amount of bass for my needs. I did notice a slight rattle but as this is installed behind the observer's bench in my boat, you don't hear it at all. It is a great product if small size is important and again, it really adds a nice bass punch to my stereo system.

This is a great little sub. Mind you, it's not going to hit like a 12 inch with a huge amp but for my needs it fits the bill. It's a small package that fit neatly in my new 2010 outback and gives a good low end thump. Out of the area where it was mounted I did notice a bit of rattle but when installed behind the observer bench, couldn't hear the rattle at all and it gives a nice solid punch to the low end!! If you need a self powered sub that is small but gives great punch, this is the sub for you.
