Combining a medium-light fast-action blank with a slightly softer tip and fast backbone, the Jason Mitchell Perch Rod is ideal for perch duty and doubles as an excellent finesse rod for walleye. This extremely versatile rod excels with presentations that range from hanger and dropper rigs, finesse spoons or horizontal riding ice jigs. The Perch Rod combo features a tiny JMS500 spinning reel with 3 ball bearings, extreme temperature lubrication system, and infinite anti-reverse. Oversized spool reduces line twist while presenting light mono in cold conditions and multi-disk drag for added smoothness with small diameter ice lines.
