Q:What is the total length of a 5 step ladder from anchoring point on the dock to the end of the ladder?
Is it designed to rest on the lake bottom...or can it hang freely in deep water?Asked on 7/6/2014 by duane from ashville ,alabama
A:The last step will be 5 feet from the mounting point, or top of the dock. These do not need to rest on the bottom. All of our ladders are designed to mount to the dock and then hang freely in the water.Answered on 7/7/2014 by Product Expert from Overtons
Q:What additional hardware do I need. Screws?Asked on 10/11/2009 by Uroscott from Lafayette, LA
A:For a wood and aluminum docks, you will need something to drill holes for the lag bolts to hold the ladder in place.
For a cement seawall you will need cement anchors to hold the ladder down. You can get this hardware from a local hardware store like Lowe's or Home Depot, or a smaller locally owned hardware store.Answered on 10/30/2009 by OVERTON'S from TECHNICIAN
