Product DescriptionThis marine-grade aluminum ladder is perfect for easy and stable access to the water. 665-lb. capacity. Wide-step ladder features 4"-wide rounded steps for more stability and comfort. Steps are 20" from side to side; 12" between each step. Handles are 14" from edge of dock, 20" high.
Retractable ladder slides up above the water line to prevent marine growth. Double-rung locking mechanism keeps the ladder stable when climbing out of the water. Mounting hardware not included.

A:Marty - There are a variety of ways to secure the ladder depending on how your dock was constructed. If you can access under your dock then you can thru bolt it. If not, you can use lag bolts.
For the 5-step ladder, the bottom step will be 5 feet from the top of the dock when fully extended.Answered on 5/11/2009 by Merchandiser from Overtons
A:It is attached by 4 1/2 inch lag screws with washers. Drill pilot hole and insert lags and tighten. Simple installation. 5 step ladder from dock to bottom of ladder is 6 feet.Answered on 6/23/2009 by Spike from Lake Anna, Mineral, VA
