Product Description
dockmate Ideal for larger boats and rafting, buoys feature heavy-duty seamless construction. Fender ends are made from injection-molded vinyl tested to an industry-leading 2000 psi tensile strength. Large line holes accept standard shackles. The curved design hole prevents chafing. Inflation valve is located on the side of the buoy for easy inflation with a football needle or compressor.

      We have a large houseboat on a permanent steel buoy open water anchorage. Our mooring harness (attachment between buoy & vessel) is made of 3/8" galvanized steel chain & is very heavy. This vinyl buoy suspends it at surface level when not connected to the vessel, has weathered seven years of 24/7 abuse by wind/wave activity without deflation until buoy eyelet finally wore thru. An optional reflective band around the middle would be a nice feature.
