The hatch idea is not a good one. Got caught in a rainstorm and everything in the cooler under water and ruined!

Comments about Igloo Sportsman 100-Qt. Cooler:

I bought this cooler for a 5 day camping trip. The temps were in the mid 90's for 4 out of the 5 days and at the end of the trip there was still ice in the cooler. I did have the cooler in a shaded area of camp but it was down right hot no matter where you were. Well worth the money.
